Digital Campaign Strategy
Throughout my career, I have overseen dozens of digital campaigns ranging from fundraising to advocacy to awareness-raising. Leveraging this broad experience, I approach campaign strategy holistically; translating key messages through email, social media, and multimedia that drive results. From initial goal- and audience-setting through final evaluation, I am a leader who approaches digital campaigns with both strong strategy and project management skills—leading to real impact.
Open Society Justice Rising Awards
The first ever award from the Open Society Foundations, the Open Society Justice Rising Awards celebrates 16 Black leaders who are making advances towards greater racial justice.
As the digital project manager, I led digital strategy and managed the development and rollout of all digital, multimedia, and design elements. This included:
Branding development and design;
Microsite design and development;
Production of 17 videos: 16 awardee profile videos and 1 hero video;
Event production including development of run of show, invitations, and multimedia production;
Organic and paid social media campaign;
Project planning, timeline management, and coordination with external vendors.
Washington Office on Latin America Beyond the Wall Campaign
To support advocacy efforts aimed at stopping the building of a border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border under the Trump administration, WOLA launched the Beyond the Wall campaign in 2017.
Developed social media messaging
Created a Wordpress landing page
Designed factsheets and social media toolkits for national partners and grassroots advocates
Overhauled Google AdWords campaigns: leading to a 50% reduction in cost-per-click, a 400% increase in click through rates, and a 200% increase in conversions
Building off this campaign, I developed new email and social media strategies for fundraising, lead generation, and brand awareness, which led to a 45% increase in new donors during the end of year campaign.
Mayan Families Giving Tuesday 2016: Give Generations of Health
In 2016 I developed and executed a campaign that raised over $25,000 in one week through a combination of matching gifts and crowdfunding. This fully funded three new preventative health programs.
